Module 6: Positive Communication & Conflict Resolution
Description
In this module, you will focus on teaching your girls how to answer three communication and conflict-based questions: 1) What is My Preferred Style of Communication? 2) How Do I Resolve Conflicts? 3) What Role Does Social Media Play in Conflicts? Other topics addressed in this module include Sources of Conflict and Graceful Speech. Be prayerful in your approach in dealing with communication and conflict resolution. It is important to recognize our individual tendencies to be judgmental or biased in telling others how to handle challenging situations.
As a Facilitator, your role is supportive and illuminating. You are tasked with shining the truth of God's word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to do the work of changing hearts and leading young women into the ways of truth and light, in the life of Christ. God's word is very clear on how we as believers should communicate and handle conflict. Make every effort to promote the guidelines of God's word.
Upon completion of this module, your girls will have a strong grasp of how to communicate with others, and how to manage avoidable and unavoidable life conflicts.
