Module 2: Self-Perception & Body Image

In this module, you will focus on teaching your girls that the way they see themselves and the way others see them may be different, but both perspectives have significant impact on who they are becoming. Many blessings!
Module Two (M2) of the “Treasured: Teaching Girls” 10-module mentoring and leadership development curriculum for teen girls! Designed to teach girls that THEY ARE A GIFT TO THE WORLD, the curriculum is comprised of lessons, activities, team projects and social media challenges that emphasize five core values: IDENTITY, GROWTH, COURAGE, LEADERSHIP & FREEDOM.
An excellent tool for teachers, youth leaders, mentors and even parents who wish to guide teen girls along a leadership and personal development journey. Walk alongside your girls as they:

✿ Provoke social change
Each lesson, and the accompanying activities, team projects and social media challenges has been meticulously tailored to meet mentoring and leadership development goals for girls from every walk of life.
In Module Two (M2), you will focus on teaching young women that the way they see themselves and the way others see them may be different, but both perspectives have significant impact on who they are becoming. This module comprises three lessons, focusing on IDENTITY and GROWTH, and uses deep Bible connections to help young women to answer three image-based questions: 1) How Do Others See Me? 2) How Do I See Myself? 3) Is My Self-Image Healthy? Other topics addressed in this module include Personal Beliefs, Selfies and God-Esteem.
Upon completion, each young woman will have a strong grasp of her self-perception and the factors that influence it. There are plenty of opportunities for discipling and discussion built in to each lesson. The Portfolio Assignments and Team Projects, create an environment for girls to work together, learn from each other and forge authentic relationships!
M2 includes: lesson outline, student-centered lesson packet, portfolio assignments, SOAPs Bible study outline, and social media challenges to enhance the lessons. Facilitator will be able to bring all the concepts together with Journal Prompts, Task Card activities and Review Questions! Your girls will be engaged from start to finish of each lesson and you’ll have a blast teaching them!
